Markets and Events
Understanding the hierarchy of discovery on Doji.
Doji organizes prediction markets into a logical hierarchy of events and markets, following the Gamma specification from Polymarket.
The Hierarchy
- Event: A container for one or more related markets. For example, "2024 US Presidential Election."
- Market: A single tradeable question within that event. For example, "Will Donald Trump win the 2024 election?"
Single-Market Product (SMP)
An event that contains exactly one market. These are common for simple Yes/No questions.
Multi-Market Product (GMP)
An event that contains two or more related markets. These are used for more complex scenarios with multiple possible outcomes or different resolution dates.
Navigation
- Event Page: Displays an overview of all markets within that event, along with collective metadata and history.
- Market Page: Provides the full Trading Terminal for a specific outcome.
Date Discrepancy: On GMPs, the
endDateshown at the event level may be shared across all child markets, even if they have different individual outcome dates. Always check the specific market's question for the most accurate resolution window.
